Patch Notes — 2 August → 8 August

National Recruitment System

The Referrals screen is gone. In its place is the Recruitment Center (My Places → Recruitment), built around a simple change: a signup by itself is now worth nothing. What counts is a recruit who is still playing.

  • A recruit becomes an activated citizen once they are still playing 7 days after signing up. Every objective, ranking and prize in the system is built on that number. A "What is an activated citizen?" explainer sits next to the counter.

  • Recruits earn you points by playing: 1 at level 3, 2 more at level 5, 2 for coming back within 24 hours, 2 for joining a party or military unit, 5 for reaching day 7 and 10 for reaching day 30 — 22 points for a fully realised recruit.

  • Rewards are now paid in stages across the recruit's first 30 days, automatically, with nothing to claim. Level 5 pays you 5 gold and sends your recruit 5 starter weapons; day 7 pays 10 gold and gives them a grade 1 equipment piece; day 30 pays 25 gold and a recruitment medal, and gives them 10 food. Account creation and first steps are tracked as progress but pay nothing.

  • The old rewards are retired: the 5 gold + medal + tiered equipment paid when a referee hit level 10, and the 0.1 gold you got every time a referee levelled up. The milestone ladder replaces both.

  • Rewards only pay for recruits who have verified their phone (while phone verification is required). Banned and deleted accounts score nothing, appear on no board and earn their inviter nothing.

The monthly campaign

  • Every calendar month is now a recruitment race between countries. Each country gets an objective of 25% of its citizen count, never below 10, and both the target and the population it was derived from are frozen for the month, so a country's own growth cannot move its goalposts.

  • Clearing your country's objective pays the national treasury 50 gold plus 2 gold for every activated recruit. The prize is shown before it is won.

  • Two country boards run at once — total activated recruits, and activated recruits as a percentage of population — so a small nation can win the growth board against a large one. There is also a recruiter board, worldwide or filtered to a single country.

  • When the month closes, the top 3 of each board are paid into their national treasuries: 250 gold for first on the total board, 150 for first on growth, with 2nd taking 60% and 3rd 35%. A country needs at least 10 activated recruits to collect — below that it keeps its placing but the prize goes unpaid rather than sliding down. A country can top both boards and be paid twice.

  • A month picker lets you browse past months, which are marked as final.

  • At the end of each month the game publishes an official world article, "<Month>'s Top Nation Builders", naming the top 10 recruiters and the top 5 nations.

Recruiting

  • My recruits lists everyone who signed up through your link with their level, days since joining, points and gold earned, and a milestone ladder showing partial progress toward the next step. Recruits who have gone quiet before activating are flagged, with a line naming the milestone they were closest to.

  • You get a notification at every step of a recruit's progress — joining, first steps, level 5, day 7, day 30 — each naming the recruit and the gold earned. If a recruit goes quiet for 48 hours without reaching day 7, you get a one-time nudge that a message from you now beats any later reward.

  • Promote writes recruitment posts for you from your country's real situation right now — an upcoming election, an active war, regions held by someone else, a vacant presidency, or being short of the objective — formatted for Reddit, Discord, X, WhatsApp, Facebook, forums and direct messages. Every post is editable before copying, with a Reset button.

  • Each angle also generates two downloadable 1200×630 campaign images with your country's real numbers baked in: an illustrated poster and a mock in-game screenshot.

  • Recruiters earn public titles by activated recruits: Recruiter at 1, National Recruiter at 5, Recruitment Officer at 10, Nation Builder at 20 and Founding Citizen at 50. Your profile shows your title and how many active citizens you brought in.

  • Recruitment notifications now group under their own Recruitment category in the notifications panel instead of being mixed into Progress.

Ministry of Recruitment

  • Countries can appoint a Recruitment minister alongside the existing ministries. Together with the president and vice president, they can run the country's recruitment.

  • The Ministry tab shows the country's recruitment funnel — activated rate, first-steps rate, day-30 retention, number of recruiters, activated per recruiter — plus its top recruiters.

  • Officers write the country's public join page: headline, pitch, the roles the country is recruiting for, and a community link. They can also write up to three custom campaign angles, which are offered to their own recruiters in the Promote tab ahead of the automatic ones.

Public join pages

  • Every country now has a public join page at /join/<country> that anyone can open without an account. It shows the country's own pitch alongside live figures: active citizens, this month's objective, regions held, active wars and the president.

  • The Join button carries both the country and the inviter into registration. Opening the same link while logged in takes you to that country's page in-game instead.

  • Join pages are listed in the sitemap so search engines can find them.

  • Older /pt/join/13-style links redirect to /join/13, keeping the referral credit attached.

New Players

  • The Envoy has been rewritten. Instead of a short tour of the campaign panel, it now walks a new citizen all the way to level 2 across ten beats: train, enter the beginner battle, land your first blow, read the damage ranking, keep striking, learn what energy costs, eat a meal, then find an employer and work a shift. A second half runs at level 2 and hands over to daily quests and campaigns.

  • Reaching level 2 mid-tutorial hands straight over to the second half. If you got to level 2 without ever seeing it, it plays on your next login.

  • New "Reach level 2" objective card on the dashboard for level 1 players, showing XP progress and the three actions that earn it — Train, Fight, Work — with their energy costs and daily limits, ticked off as you do them.

  • The interface now unlocks in stages. Level 1 gives you the objective card, the war list and three pinned quick actions. Level 2 restores the navigation menus, daily quests, campaigns, construction sites, map layers, search and the mobile action rail. Level 3, with the tutorial finished, adds tournaments, articles, the bottom bar, the world-event ticker and store promos. The weekend roulette stays at level 10.

  • While you are level 1 the quick-action bar is pinned to Train, Fight and Work. Your own arrangement comes back untouched at level 2.

  • Notifications stay silent for the whole of level 1 — no badge, no cards, no live pushes. The backlog arrives at level 2.

  • Success popups are held back during level 1 and while the tutorial is running, since they were announcing panels a new player hasn't been shown yet. Errors, level-ups and purchase receipts still come through.

  • Players who arrived through an invite are asked once "What brings you here?" — Soldier, Entrepreneur, Politician, Journalist or Diplomat, each with its own artwork. The screen states plainly that the choice locks nothing; it tells whoever invited you what help is worth offering. It can be skipped, and a dismissible dashboard banner keeps asking up to level 5.

  • That choice sets an Onboarding Pact: three objectives suited to the path, plus one welcome message only your recruiter can send. Finishing all four pays both of you 2 gold. Soldier asks for a fight, training and a military unit; Entrepreneur for a market purchase, working and level 3; Politician for joining a party, working and level 3; Journalist for writing an article, working and level 3; Diplomat for travelling, joining a party and level 3.

  • Phone verification is no longer demanded of brand-new players — the banner now waits until level 3.

  • War cards show a green "Beginner" badge on the daily training battle and a "Level 6" lock badge on wars you cannot enter yet. Below level 6, the beginner battle is sorted to the top. Previously the level requirement only appeared after the map had already zoomed you into the battle.

Tutorial fixes

  • The tutorial now remembers where you were. Reloading the page, opening a window or walking onto the battlefield no longer rewinds it.

  • It no longer ends by accident — pressing Escape to close a window it asked you to open used to dismiss it silently. There is now no dismiss control at all.

  • Fixed the tutorial pushing you off the battlefield mid-lesson. The round-end scoreboard covering the FIGHT button used to read as "you left the battle", jumping you to the work instruction with 2 of the 5 experience you needed.

  • Fixed dead ends: if you already trained or worked today it skips that instruction, and if no employer in your country will hire a level-1 worker it sends you back to the battle for the last experience point instead of parking you on an empty job market.

  • Fixed the work instruction looping ("press Work" → "find a job" → "close this window" → "press Work"). The tutorial now follows you into the job market and points at the Apply button — the best-paid offer you can actually take, rather than the worst one on the page.

  • When something is covering what the tutorial is pointing at, it now says so and highlights the way out, instead of describing a screen you cannot see. It no longer offers a continue button on those cards, which used to skip you past a lesson you were never shown.

  • The strike instruction counts down live ("1 of 2 blows landed") and asks for however many blows actually close the gap to level 2.

  • During the two beats that ask you to press FIGHT, the ATK/DEF forces panels close so the Envoy's card isn't sitting on top of the button it is pointing at.

  • The Envoy's card now fits on small phones — tall spotlights give ground so the card keeps its message and its continue button.

  • The tutorial now takes precedence over the store and roulette promotions, which used to grab the screen first and cancel it before it started.

  • The tutorial no longer depends on campaigns — it used to refuse to run if the campaign panel was switched off or the campaign list failed to load.

Onboarding Committee

  • Countries can now automatically open a private group chat with every new citizen, containing the president, vice president and recruitment minister, and optionally the recruiter who invited them. It opens with a welcome message the government wrote, and the newcomer can simply reply.

  • Governments write that message in the Ministry tab, up to 900 characters, with {player}, {country} and {leader} placeholders inserted by button and a live preview. Off by default: a country that never enables it, or that holds none of the three offices, creates no groups.

  • Committee chats appear in the chat list as their own channel above the party and military unit rows, showing the new citizen's avatar and the last message. The unread badge is lit as soon as you log in.

  • The committee stays in everyone's chat list for 14 days, then drops off — members can still open and read the thread afterwards.

  • New players can actually hold a conversation there: the committee channel uses a normal anti-flood cadence instead of the fresh-account limit that throttles new accounts to one message every couple of minutes.

  • Committee chats are private to their members — reading or posting in one you're not part of is refused.

  • Discord and Reddit links pasted into a country's welcome message become clickable and open in a new tab. Line breaks are preserved, so a multi-paragraph welcome reads as written.

Chat

  • You can now mention players. Type @ followed by a name and a picker appears with matching players; arrow keys plus Enter or Tab insert the mention, Escape dismisses it. Names with spaces are inserted as @[Name So] so they point at the right account.

  • A mention turns into a blue pill in the message box once the name matches a real player — if no pill appears, it won't link to anyone. Sent mentions show as clickable chips that open that player's profile.

  • Hovering a player in chat — their name, avatar, an @mention or a profile link inside a message — opens a preview card with their avatar and cosmetic border, level, country flag, online status, combat strength, total damage, economic power, military rank, military unit and party.

  • Presidents, vice presidents and ministers now show their office badge next to their name in country chat and in onboarding committees. A player holding two seats shows the more senior one.

  • Emoticons in messages are much larger — they had been shrunk to a size players reported as unreadable — and the picker tiles now match the size the emoticon will actually appear at.

  • Fixed clicking a link inside a chat message reloading the whole game. Links to training, wars, transactions and similar pages now open as a normal in-game window, including links a player copied out of their own address bar with a language prefix.

  • Country announcements (the message of the day) now turn links into clickable ones: Discord invites render as a "Join Discord" chip, and links to in-game pages open in place. Long unbroken text wraps instead of overflowing.

  • Sending a private message from a player's profile now opens the conversation, instead of appearing to do nothing — the thread was opening behind the still-open profile window.

  • After you pick your country, your national and local channels and your onboarding committee appear right away. They used to stay empty until the next full page load, so the welcome message your country wrote was missed on arrival.

Newspapers & Articles

  • New Articles tab: a reading feed of articles from every newspaper at once. Search by title, sort by Newest, Hot, Most voted or Most followed, and switch scope between the whole world, a single country, or only the newspapers you subscribe to. Loads 20 at a time.

  • The Newspapers window now opens on the Articles feed rather than My Newspapers, so "view all" from the dashboard lands on articles. The newspaper registry is now a single Browse tile with its local/global switch moved to scope chips.

  • Feed cards show which newspaper published each article.

  • Videos embedded in articles no longer start on their own. They show a thumbnail with a play button and only load when you click it. The game music pauses while a video plays and comes back when you stop it, and a note under the button tells you so.

  • Images in articles can be clicked to open full-screen, and clicked again to switch between fit-to-screen and full size. Small images — icons, smileys, dividers — are left alone.

  • Links that lead outside the game now open a warning first, showing the full destination and its domain, reminding you that article links are posted by players and that you should never enter your Eclesiar password anywhere else. Your place in the article is kept. Wrapped links that actually point back into the game skip the warning and open the right screen.

  • Tables inside articles now sit in their own scrollable box with newspaper-style ruling, instead of stretching or overflowing the page — both in-game and on public shared article pages.

  • The World Events event-type filter is now a themed dropdown matching the country picker beside it, and can no longer be clipped by the window's scroll area.

  • If the article feed fails to load it says so with a Retry button, instead of showing an empty "no articles yet".

  • Fixed the news feed erroring out for players who subscribe to no newspapers.

  • Fixed article lists coming back empty when one article's writer or newspaper owner had been deleted.

  • Fixed the leave-the-site warning appearing behind the article and being un-clickable for logged-out readers following a shared link, and opening one directly from a bookmark or pasted URL no longer bounces you to the login screen and throws the link away.

War

  • New Battle Ranking Strip (Settings → Interface): keeps the top 3, 5 or 10 fighters of each side listed under the damage bar for the whole battle, so you can follow the Battle Hero race without opening the forces panels. Off by default; phones always cap at the top 3.

  • The forces panel no longer runs the hit count and the damage total together — they're two separate readouts now, damage abbreviated (12.3M) with the exact value on hover, digits monospaced so ranks line up.

  • Battle modifier chips now say what they actually change. Forest reads as an accuracy penalty and desert as a +100% energy cost per hit, instead of both being shown as damage. Modifier names and descriptions are translated instead of always being English.

  • Four modifiers added to the panel: Rightful Owner (+10% attack when retaking your own region), Military Base Level 1 (+3% defence damage), Military Base Level 2 (+5% defence accuracy), and Revolution, which carries no number and warns that winning grants the country no war initiative.

  • The LEADER chip above the live feed now shows the leader of your own side, taken from the round ranking, with an ATK/DEF badge — it used to name whoever topped the last 30 hits across both sides, which routinely meant an enemy. Spectators no longer get a meaningless rank of their own.

  • Fixed fighters missing from the round ranking, or showing only their latest hit as their whole round total. A hit from someone the panel doesn't list yet is added immediately and the real totals pulled shortly after — instantly when the hit is your own.

  • The score shown when a battle ends is now the final one. The end-of-battle notice used to keep the score from before the deciding round, and a war decided on the last round could be announced as a draw.

  • Your energy and food bars are re-checked when you enter a battle, so an off-screen restore shows up straight away. This fixes tournament players whose full restoration for winning the preliminary round only appeared after a page reload.

  • Trying to eat now tells you why it didn't work instead of doing nothing — "Food limit reached, +1 in 12:30" with a live countdown, or "Your energy is already full." The food card dims, and the E shortcut and the resource bar report the same thing. Same on the construction screen and the dashboard.

  • Weapon picker: "Bare hands" moved to a pinned row at the bottom where it's always visible, and clicking the weapon you already have equipped now unequips it and drops you to bare hands.

  • Fixed the weapon, food and travel menus opening behind the scoreboard or behind the spectator avatars, which made their top rows invisible and untappable — this is what made "Bare hands" unselectable.

  • Floating damage numbers are now purely visual and no longer swallow clicks aimed at the map.

  • The Wars window remembers which tab you were on, plus your search and filters, when you come back from a battle or a report.

  • New "Start Live Feed Closed" setting: enter wars and construction sites with the live feed already collapsed. Its button still opens it at any time.

  • On tablets the war command bar and resource bars now use the full desktop width, so the FIGHT button is no longer squeezed on top of the weapon picker.

Construction

  • New Construction Sites panel on the dashboard, listing the sites you're actually allowed to build on, with a live count and a link through to the full list. Previously the only way to reach a build site was clicking its marker on the map.

  • The construction sites list gained a Finished tab showing completed and cancelled sites 25 at a time, each with a DONE or CANCELED badge and a link to the site's report.

  • Added building-type and country filters, and the list now remembers your tab, search, sort and filters when you enter a site and come back.

  • Fixed construction orders being signed off by accident. When a site hits 100% the BUILD button turns into FINISH in the same spot, and a click or hold still aimed at BUILD used to fire it. FINISH now stays inert for a moment after the swap, ignores a press that began before it appeared, can't be triggered by the build hotkey, and asks for confirmation.

  • Fixed "Active building orders" in the Community menu doing nothing on phones.

Interface & Settings

  • New Detached Panels mode (Settings → Interface, desktop only, off by default). Screens open as movable, resizable floating windows instead of one full-screen overlay, so you can keep several open side by side — including several copies of the same screen, such as two currency markets or three of your companies.

    • Drag the title bar to move, double-click or use the maximise button to fill the screen, drag the edges or corner to resize, or use Alt+Arrow and Alt+Shift+Arrow from the keyboard.

    • Each panel has its own minimise, close and back controls; minimised panels collapse into labelled chips at the bottom-left.

    • Up to 6 panels stay open at once; opening a seventh closes the one you used least recently and tells you so.

    • Your layout survives a page reload — positions, sizes and focus are kept for the rest of the browser session.

    • Escape closes only the panel you're working in, and the share button always describes the focused panel.

    • A screen that crashes now fails inside its own panel with a "This panel stopped working" message, leaving your other panels untouched.

    • Some screens deliberately stay full-screen: the terms/privacy/rules/contact/API pages, the leave-the-site warning, phone verification, and the country/region panels opened from the map.

  • The Interface tab is now a searchable settings browser. A search box filters every control, and the settings are split into seven sections you switch between — Appearance, World map, Battle screen, Motion & flashing, HUD elements, Controls & prompts, and Language.

  • Each section shows how many settings you've changed from the default, with a Reset that restores just that section.

  • Settings search ignores accents and also matches section names, so "confirmacoes" finds "Confirmações" and "motion" lists the whole Motion section. Typing a language name jumps to the Language section with the list already filtered.

  • New audio setting "All country anthems": rotates every nation's theme instead of only the shared tracks plus your own. Your own anthem still plays first.

  • Changing music volume, mute or the country-music toggle in one tab now applies to your other open tabs.

  • Two Interface toggles that did nothing — "Show guides" and "War emoticons" — were removed.

  • Screens now remember where you were. Rankings, tournaments, your inbox, party pages, country transaction history, the market, the auction house, contracts, the job market, the stock market, construction sites, the Wars window, newspapers and the article archive all return you to the same tab, sort, filter, search and page after you open something from a row. Tabbed screens remember which tab you were on. If a ranking shrinks while you're away, you land on the last page that still has entries.

  • If the invisible anti-bot check fails to load, expires or is closed, the game now says so instead of the action silently doing nothing. This hit brand-new accounts on their very first train, fight or work.

  • Confirmation messages that were being silently swallowed for new players now always appear: account rename, account deletion request, citizenship requested, SMS code resent, phone verification skipped, support ticket created and rated, player report sent, and Eclesiar ID revoked.

Promo Codes

  • Promotional codes can actually be redeemed now — the Redeem button in Settings previously did nothing at all. The field auto-formats what you type or paste into XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, Enter submits, and a bad code shows an inline error.

  • A successful redeem plays a reward reveal: a sealed gift shakes while the code is checked, bursts open with confetti, and the rewards appear as artwork tiles grouped into items, equipment, currency, borders, banners, backgrounds and emoticons. Gold and local currency then fly into your wallet. Bigger hauls get a bigger burst.

Work & Companies

  • New Compact view for the company list, turned on from a new View menu — every company collapses to a single row that still carries the work checkbox, avatar, name, quality, production and Work-as-Manager cost. Opt-in, and remembered per account.

  • Individual companies can be pinned collapsed: right-click a company (or long-press on touch) and pick "Always collapse this one". Collapsed companies sink to the bottom of their group and can still be expanded for one look.

  • Holdings you're linked to but don't run now show as a greyed padlocked section reading "No access", with an explanation that only the holding's CEO, managers and vices can work its companies — instead of a red error bar you could click and retry.

  • The holdings shown in the company panel now come from your actual holdings, so a holding consumed by a merge no longer leaves behind a section that can never open.

  • The Sort and View menus no longer get sliced off by the edge of the Work window, and Escape closes just the menu instead of the whole window.

  • The job offer form remembers what you last posted — wage, number of positions and minimum skill — and pre-fills them next time. The wage only carries between companies using the same currency, so a salary never crosses countries.

  • The "this offer won't show up in the job market" explanation now sits on the offer itself and is recalculated on every load, so it disappears by itself once you fix the cause.

  • Removed the warning that fired when your wallet couldn't cover every position at once. An employer who can pay one position has a listable offer.

Market, Storage & Trading

  • Opening an item in a warehouse now shows how many you have listed for sale, split by which national market each batch is in, plus a Total owned line. Listed units had been invisible because they leave the warehouse when the offer is created.

  • Country warehouses can now be opened by any citizen standing in that country — only officers could before. Upgrading is still an officer action, paid from the national treasury, and only offered in your own country.

  • A country's warehouse is now titled "Country storage" instead of "My Storage", and a warehouse that fails to load says so instead of showing the upgrade-failed message.

  • On the general market, the stock list refreshes after you cancel an offer, edit an amount or buy something — it used to keep showing pre-action stock until you switched entities.

  • Sellers and bidders now show their country flag across the company market, auction lots, the current bid and the bid history.

  • "Best price on market" now ignores offers from removed or inactive sellers, so it matches the cheapest offer a buyer can actually see and buy.

  • Fixed monetary-market sell quotes failing with "No available market rate to place shortfall order" on books that had plenty of depth. A leftover remainder worth less than 0.001 Gold is now dropped instead of failing the whole trade, and the confirmation shows what actually leaves your wallet rather than the amount you typed.

  • Auction rows were rebuilt to fit more lots on screen — smaller item tile, name/tier/seller on one band, and the bid figures, timer and buttons on a single strip. Long names truncate with a tooltip instead of wrapping the row taller.

  • Fixed the contract dispatch animation being able to lock the screen, and a create that answers without a contract id now closes the overlay instead of hanging.

  • Fixed the shareholder picker in the holding screen rendering behind neighbouring blocks and being cut off.

  • On phones and tablets, opening the country dropdown or the "manage as" picker in the market no longer pops the on-screen keyboard up over the list you were about to tap.

Military Units

  • Handing out supplies now happens inside the unit's warehouse. You pick stacks with the storage's own category, quality and search filters and its capacity bar on screen, choose whether it goes to the whole unit, one squad or one member, and confirm on a summary showing how many each member gets, what remainder is left, and which stacks are too small to split.

  • The target picker has a search box and lists members nested under their squad, so you can type a name or a squad name to find who you're supplying.

  • The unit's treasury balances now show in the warehouse header, with a "+N" chip through to the unit bank.

  • Ordinary members can donate to their unit again. Donate is now its own button on the unit screen instead of living inside the officer-only management window, where members couldn't reach it.

  • The donation currency list now shows the currencies you actually hold, with your balance, a MAX button and a confirmation step. It used to list the unit's currencies, so one you held but the unit didn't was impossible to donate, and one the unit held but you didn't was offered and then rejected.

Country & Politics

  • Countries can appoint a Recruitment minister, who runs the country's recruitment campaign, writes the public join page and sets the automatic welcome for new citizens.

  • Fixed Message of the Day law proposals being rejected outright. They now go through, and are refused with a clear message if the text is empty or longer than 255 characters.

  • Fixed the government panel: the "Manage government" button was drawn on top of the artwork and could be covered and made unclickable by the cabinet strip, and the cabinet row covered the president and vice-president portraits. The button now sits in the panel header and the cabinet sits below the artwork.

  • The congress chamber reads properly on a phone: the vote toolbar moved above the hall instead of covering a fifth of it, the For / bill / Against cards sit across the top in the same order as the sides of the house, and seats are drawn larger on narrow screens so faces, vote badges and party emblems are visible.

  • The proposal dossier header is about half as tall on phones, so the chamber is visible without scrolling.

  • On the choose-your-nation screen the title block now scrolls away under your finger while the search box and region filters stay pinned, instead of a header that snapped shut mid-scroll and made the country list jump.

Training & Equipment

  • Clicking an equipment slot on the paper doll now opens a picker floating over the figure, listing every piece you own for that slot, best grade first — no more hunting through the armory below. Unequipping is an explicit button in the picker.

  • Added an "Unequip all" button that strips every worn piece. It arms on the first click and only fires on the second.

  • The armory filters (category, quality, slot) now work in both the list and grouped views, and the view switch is two labelled buttons instead of a single unlabelled icon. The flat list previously ignored every filter.

University

  • Each study now shows a dedicated line telling you how far it is from activating ("Activates in N" / "Completes in N") plus an estimate of how many more donations that takes — and it finally appears on phones, where the study panel never showed it.

  • The academy header stats were wrong and are fixed. The "Active" tile used to count how many active-type studies exist in the game, a number that never moved; it now shows how many of your skills are running right now plus how many are off cooldown and ready. "Completed" is now "Unlocked", and a new per-branch table shows unlocked active and passive skills for each category.

  • The header reads "Academy" instead of "State academy" when no country actually restricts any study.

Map

  • New World Map window at /map, reachable from Community → Map for players running the interface in Static map quality — who previously had no way to reach a real map at all. It loads a live, clickable map on demand and unloads it when you close the window, so the low-power setting keeps its benefit.

  • New Buildings map layer. Pick Hospital, Military Base, Production Fields or Industrial Zone and every region is shaded by that building's level, with a 0–5 colour scale in the legend.

  • Battle and travel effects on the map are now capped and cleaned up properly — no more than 48 combat effect markers and 12 other players' planes at once, with everything torn down when the map unmounts or the tab is hidden.

Notifications & Email

  • Fixed notifications, unread message counts and contract alerts being silently zeroed for every player on the new client, permanently. They were gated on a legacy tutorial counter the new client only writes at the very end of the tutorial, so accounts sat below the threshold forever. Notifications are now hidden only while you are level 1.

  • Medal notifications now name the medal you won, and for battle medals the round and region it came from — instead of the same "You just won a new medal" line for all 19 medals.

  • Registered but never confirmed your email? You now get up to three reminders — about an hour after signing up, again the next day, and a final "last call" after three days — each with a one-click confirm link, sent in your account's language. The third says outright that it's the last one.

  • The confirm link now takes you back to whichever version of the site you signed up on.

  • Push notifications from the team now show a title line above the message text, and can open a specific page in the game when tapped.

  • Game emails now include a plain-text version alongside the formatted one, with links written out in full, so they read correctly in text-only mail clients and are less likely to be filtered as spam.

  • Fixed emails being sent in an encoding that hid their contents from the mail provider, which is why link and open tracking reported nothing.

Quests & Campaigns

  • Company quality objectives now count any company you own at the target quality, however you got it — upgraded, created at that quality, or bought on the company market — and the progress bar moves the moment you buy or create one. Progress already earned is kept even if you later sell the company.

  • Campaign quest descriptions that ask for more than one of something no longer read as if they wanted just one.

  • Daily quest reward celebrations are skipped below level 2, since the quest panel isn't on screen yet. The rewards still arrive, and the list is up to date the moment it unlocks.

Profile

  • Players who have brought in active recruits now show a recruiter title and "Brought N active citizens" on their profile, plus their rank inside their country.

  • Uploaded avatars, banners and unit images are noticeably sharper. The crop now exports at the source image's own resolution instead of resampling everything down to 300px first, and circular crops no longer come back with black corners.

Mobile

  • The big glowing logo in the centre of the phone bottom bar now opens Daily Quests — it previously did nothing at all, and the pulsing dot beside it that looked like a notification badge was never connected to anything and has been removed.

  • Fixed the phone top bar swallowing taps. Its invisible lower strip covered controls beneath it — most visibly the leave-battle button on the war screen, which could not be pressed.

  • The leave-battle X was also largely untappable because opening a forces panel covered it entirely. It now sits clear below the header and above every war panel.

  • Daily quests got their own entry in the phone menu.

  • The energy and food bars sit lower during the first levels, filling the space where the hidden bottom navigation used to be.

Account & Platform

  • Country population figures on the legacy site — Total, Active and New today — and the Active Citizens ranking now use the same active-player definition the ranking is sorted by, and refresh hourly rather than being recounted on every page view.

  • Announcement pushes can now be aimed at specific groups of players rather than everyone: by country, language, level range, players who haven't logged in since a given date, or a hand-picked list.

  • Translations were synced across all 37 supported languages this cycle, not just English — around 30,000 new lines across the bundles.
