TOMORROW, IT'S NOT JUST A NAME ON THE BALLOT

Tomorrow, India votes for its next Congress members.

Over the last few days, we've heard a lot about experience, parties and candidates. But once the election is over, none of that matters if elected Congress members simply disappear.

Congress is going to involve actual decisions. Laws, proposals, taxes, the economy, war and peace — these aren't things you can just vote on without knowing what you're doing.

That's why we've spent the last few days preparing our candidates instead of just putting names on a list.

We've gone through how Congress works. We've discussed proposals and voting. We've made sure candidates know that being elected isn't the finish line — it's where the responsibility starts.

We don't expect every candidate to know everything on day one. Nobody does. What matters is being willing to learn, stay active, ask questions and actually participate.

Tomorrow, citizens will make their choice.

After that choice, the real work begins.
