The End of a Chapter I

​Služio državi Srbiji punih 550 dana (40. - 590.)

​Ulagao, ratovao, gradio, verujući da gradim bedem, a ne kokošinjac. Otišao dana 590. kada su čast i dostojanstvo sahranjeni u Srbiji. Moja služba prestaje u momentu kada se slava više ne meri delima, nego brojem mrtvih glasača.

Uzdignuta iz pepela i ruševina, na betonskim temeljima patriotizma ove države, sada se gradi kuća manipulacija, spletki i prevara. Svoju dalju igru ne vidim u tom smeru. Vodili smo različite bitke i igrali igru na svoj način – vi ste pobedili u svojoj, ja u svojoj.

U amanet ne mogu da vam ostavim nista, jel ono sto vama najvise fali stiče se kroz život a ne u virtuelnoj igri.

Svakako cemo se sresti jos mnogo puta u ratovima koji dolaze.

Served the State of Serbia for a full 550 days (Day 40 – 590).

​I invested, fought, and built, believing I was raising a fortress, not a hen house. I departed on Day 590, when honor and dignity were buried in Serbia. My service ends at the moment when glory is no longer measured by deeds, but by the count of dead voters.

​Raised from ashes and ruins, the state was built on the concrete foundations of patriotism—but now, a house of manipulation, schemes, and deceit is being built in its place. I do not see my future path heading in that direction. We fought different battles and played the game in our own ways – you won in yours, I won in mine.

​I can leave you nothing in my wake, for what you lack the most is earned through life, not in a virtual game.

We will surely meet again many times in the wars to come.
