Act of Cooperation with the United States of America

Citizens of Mexico,

In these difficult times, when our sovereignty is gravely threatened by the aggression of foreign powers, we are pleased to announce the beginning of a strategic cooperation with our northern neighbors, the United States. Said accord is established solely for the duration of this conflict, as, given the circumstances, Mexico lacks the resources and capacity to defend itself alone against such a significant threat.

It is important to clarify that this agreement does not represent a permanent commitment, but rather an exceptional measure to face the aggression we are experiencing at this critical moment. The United States and Mexico, united by common values of democracy and justice, have decided to collaborate in defense of our nation. Through this cooperation, we strengthen our ability to protect our borders, our cities, and, above all, the right of Mexicans to live in peace and freedom.

Both countries will share resources, intelligence, and strategies, but this cooperation is limited to the duration of the conflict. At no point will our principles of sovereignty be sacrificed, nor will our future decisions in foreign policy be compromised. This cooperation is a circumstantial necessity, and as soon as peace is achieved and our nation regains its capacity for defense, Mexico will resume the path of neutrality.

We deeply appreciate our American brothers for their courage and solidarity in this time of need. Together, in this war, we will fight side by side. But let us remember that the true strength of Mexico has always resided in its autonomy and capacity to decide its own destiny, without relying on anyone else.

En estos tiempos difíciles, cuando nuestra soberanía se ve gravemente amenazada por la agresión de potencias extranjeras, nos complace anunciar el inicio de una cooperación estratégica con nuestros vecinos del norte, Estados Unidos. Dicho acuerdo se establece únicamente por el periodo de este conflicto, ya que, dadas las circunstancias, México no tiene los recursos ni la capacidad necesaria para defenderse por sí mismo contra una amenaza de tal magnitud.

Es importante aclarar que este convenio no representa un compromiso permanente, sino una medida excepcional para hacer frente a la agresión que sufrimos en este momento crítico. Estados Unidos y México, unidos por valores comunes de democracia y justicia, han decidido colaborar en defensa de nuestra nación. A través de esta cooperación, fortalecemos nuestra capacidad para proteger nuestras fronteras, nuestras ciudades y, sobre todo, el derecho de los mexicanos a vivir en paz y libertad.

Ambos países compartirán recursos, inteligencia y estrategias, pero esta cooperación está limitada a la duración del conflicto. En ningún momento se sacrificarán nuestros principios de soberanía ni se comprometerán nuestras decisiones futuras en política exterior. Esta alianza es una necesidad circunstancial, y tan pronto como se logre la paz y nuestra nación recupere su capacidad de defensa, México retomará el camino de la neutralidad.

Agradecemos profundamente a nuestros hermanos americanos por su valentía y solidaridad en esta hora de necesidad. Juntos, en esta guerra, lucharemos codo a codo. Pero recordemos que la verdadera fuerza de México siempre ha residido en su autonomía y capacidad para decidir su propio destino, sin depender de nadie.
