Croatia’s Government Addresses Its Foreign Policy

In the recent article “Croatia Declares Neutrality”, the Government of eCroatia cited several key reasons for proclaiming neutrality: first, long-standing diplomatic cooperation and mutual respect with both EPIC and WET alliances; second, the importance of preserving the balance of power, avoiding further destabilization in Eclesiar; and third, condemning the violations of the Non-Aggression Pact (NAP), notably by Poland, which undermined trust and cooperation.

? Changes in Diplomatic Stance

Aside from the already mentioned Slovenia, the USA, and Poland, Croatia has cultivated positive diplomatic relations also with South Korea and Serbia. Unfortunately, some of these partners have found themselves on opposing sides: the NAP breach by Poland was a central reason that compelled us to declare neutrality, even we been allied to Poland before it. After EPIC violated the NAP and launched an attack on South Korea, they have been equated with Poland, adopting the same aggressive tactics that eCroatia rejects—especially in light of our own history, where a previous administration similarly violated NAPs and inflicted significant damage to our reputation. Precisely this is the fundamental reason why Croatia now rejects neutrality and aligns itself with the alliance “Kpoppers", only side left that respect rules that they sign and keeps their word.

⚠️ Concerns Over EPIC’s Ambitions

The Government sees EPIC’s potential victory as a threat to the sovereignty of all defeated nations. A high-ranking EPIC official few days ago has casually suggested that this war will be the “last world war” in the game, after which EPIC intends to transform into an alliance playing a role akin to the UN in real life. The problem not seen by EPIC member states is that, in its pursuit, EPIC would have to deny sovereign decision-making to the rest of the world—or use force to impose its will. Alliance that broke rules to win war simply cannot be the one to impose same rules to others. Alliance that was created to stop the tyranny become tyrant themselves.

?️ Commitment to Treaties and Allies

For these reasons, the Government of eCroatia considers entering this war as a fight not only for its own sovereignty but for the sovereignty of the entire world, a stand against tyranny. We continue to respect the legality of existing treaties and we have a valid NAP with Slovenia until the end of the month, which we intend to honor by not participating in direct combat in which Slovenia is attacking or defending, or lend our territory to someone else to fight Slovenia. Additionally, in recognition of deep gratitude toward them, eCroatia will not engage in direct attacks against the USA, despite lacking any contractual obligation to refrain.

⚔️ Main goal of our participation in this war

The goal of Croatia's entry into this world conflict is not to conquer, permawipe or make colonies out of anyone. the only goal we want to achieve is the return of the balance of power and enabling all countries to regain their sovereignty and not be puppets of superpowers. We will achieve this goal only if we succeed in one thing - the disbandment of EPIC and the reset of all alliances on this server. If we succeed, we hope that the others will follow this example, forget the previous conflicts and continue to play in their own interest. Wars like this, which are just a continuation of previous conflicts, should stop so that we can all turn over a new leaf together and perhaps create something similar to the UN in which everyone will participate, not just selected elites who subjugate others.

Atisz555 So if croatia is so determined about balance, why doesnt it help anyone against wet or koreans? Why let all the refugees? Its not for balance its for your own greed broski

Im not member of wet and helped koreans only because they are only one left respecting community agreements. If it was only greed in question i would demand something in return

Szeth Yes, indeed Poland broke the Nap because we have to do it, Arabia was going to take country after country so we couldn’t stay in peace and do nothing with it that is reason of shameful move to make eclesiar better place and it is worth, we are no going to bully innocent countries which want to create own community and be a free. Morg replied to Szeth I wouldn't go as far as saying that without SA, the game would be a better place. I've been told that it's a war game after all, and so far they've conducted the biggest surprise nuclear strike in the Eclesiar history knowing that Poland will rush to defend their new ally—Sweden. Moreover, they fought bravely during the first two weeks of the ongoing war and managed to not lose any of their core regions. (at least at the moment of writing this comment)

Nushid A smart one might feign being stupid for some time, but a stupid one cannot feign being smart all the time :) And this time, despite all the differences, one side can see through EPIC's real ambitions and ploys. Unless some have hijacked EPIC and the rest must simply follow... How many leaders do you have? We are a scattershot of communities acting independently against SA ...
