[FR/EN] Débuts de la Réserve Opérationnelle

Bonjour à tous,

Aujourd'hui, je ne suis pas là pour parler affaires, mais pour parler unité militaire.

Après une première concertation sur discord, je peux vous annoncer la mise en place de mon projet de Réserve Opérationnelle.

De quoi s'agit-il ?

Il s'agit d'une Unité Militaire (nous réutilisons Les Brigades Rouges, qui étaient en sommeil) dont le but est d'aider des joueurs qui ne sont généralement pas des combattants réguliers à mettre le pied à l'étrier, à la fois en termes de gestion (distribution directe de matériel), de connaissances (conseils sur l'équipement, bases de tactique...) et de clics (vous n'avez pas besoin d'être une énorme brute dopée pour servir à quelque chose).

Ce projet part du constat que nous sommes un pays présent sur les scènes économiques et de construction, mais assez peu en termes de bagarre. Le but n'est pas de "forcer" les joueurs à faire du contenu qui ne les intéresse pas, mais à leur montrer qu'ils peuvent être utiles à leur échelle sans avoir 2000g d'équipement, a fortiori s'ils s'entraînent régulièrement.

C'est donc à la fois un projet communautaire (lien social sur discord, mobiliser des joueurs potentiellement peu intégrés au groupe, que ce soit en français ou en anglais), et stratégique (améliorer le niveau global de combat moyen des français pour avoir une meilleure force de frappe). Economiquement parlant, le budget restera maîtrisé grâce à l'utilisation d'une MU dans laquelle des investissements notables avaient déjà été faits, à l'utilisation de matériel q3 pour l'entraînement pour avoir un bon ratio chiffres/coût, et à une économie par rapport au système de distribution par contrats (pas de frais sur les distributions internes à une MU).

A qui le projet s'adresse-il ?

Tout citoyen français (francophone ou anglophone) actif et souhaitant progresser en termes militaires, peu importent son expérience et son équipement actuels.

C'est relativement large, mais pour autant, un minimum de sérieux sera demandé (à savoir être connecté au moins une fois par jour, être présent (à l'écrit) sur discord pour une communication facile, et ne pas dilapider les ressources confiées en cliquant complètement au hasard. Je ne pense pas que ce soit excessif.

Hello everyone,

I'm not here today to talk about business, but to talk about a military unit.

After some initial talks on Discord, I can now announce the beginnings of my project of an Operational Reserve.

What is it ?

This is a Military Unit (we will re-use "Les Brigades Rouges", a dormant MU) with the goal of helping players who are generally not fighters to kickstart their military progression, in terms of management (direct distribution of supplies), of knowledge (advice about gear, tactics 101...) and clicks (you do not need to be a brute on steroids to be useful).

This idea came from noticing that our country is fairly active on the economical and building fronts, but not that much in terms of actual military fighting. Its goal isn't to "force" players to engage in content they aren't interested in, but to show them that they can still be useful without wearing 2000g of gear, especially if they train regularly.

This is both a community project (social contact on discord, help including players that might not be playing much with the community, no matter if they speak french or english), and a strategic one (improve the average combat ability of french players to have a stronger playerbase). Economically speaking, its budget should stay reasonable, thanks to the use of a MU in which substantial investments had already been done, the use of Q3 supplies for training to have a good damage/cost ratio, and saving on contract fees.

Who can apply ?

Any French citizen (ingame, obviously), no matter if they speak french or english, active, and willing to improve on the military side, no matter their current experience or gear.

This feels fairly open, but still, we'd ask for some basic seriousness: being online at least once a day, being present on discord (text, not voice) for an easier communication, and not wasting resources by doing random stuff. I still think it's fairly reasonable.
