Birth of the European Union (EU) Alliance between Germany, Italy, and France Today, Germany, Italy, and France proudly announce the establishment of a new alliance: 

The European Union (EU).

This historic agreement marks the beginning of a new era of cooperation and solidarity among the three founding nations, united by the will to ensure peace, security, and prosperity for their citizens and for the entire European continent.

The European Union is founded with a dual purpose:

• Defensive, to guarantee collective stability and protection against any threat, strengthening military and strategic cooperation among member states;

• Economic, to promote growth, innovation, and market integration, creating a shared area of development based on fairness, sustainability, and progress.

With the birth of the EU, Germany, Italy, and France reaffirm their commitment to a future built on cooperation, mutual trust, and respect for European values. This union represents a decisive step toward a new vision of Europe: stronger, more united, and more supportive.
