Italy on its way back to normality

In the early afternoon of September 19th, I received the joyful news that Italy once again has a president (“Em”) and is therefore able to act again.

The most important changes made so far include:

1. Lowering the minimum wage from 20 to 6

2. Lifting the trade embargo against Germany

Despite the good news, this by no means indicates that Italy, nor investors from other countries, have already recovered from “Brando’s” dictatorship.

The ITL is still losing value, while some products, such as level 3 bread, are either unavailable or only available in very small quantities.

Due to the worrying inflation, it has been and still is difficult for Italy’s working class to obtain affordable goods.

Nevertheless, Italy stands at the threshold of a new golden era.

Am frühen Nachmittag des 19. Septembers hat mich die freudige Nachricht ereilt, dass Italien nun wieder einen Präsidenten hat ("Em") und somit wieder handlungsfähig ist.

Die wichtigsten, bisher getätigten, Änderungen umfassen:

1. Senkung des Mindestlohns von 20 auf 6

2. Aufhebung des Handelsembargos gegen Deutschland

Trotz der guten Nachrichten bedeutet dies jedoch keinesfalls, dass Italien und auch Investoren aus anderen Ländern, sich wieder von "Brandos" Diktatur erholt haben.

Der ITL verliert immernoch an Wert, während manche Produkte, wie Stufe 3 Brot, nicht oder nur in sehr geringen Mengen verfügbar sind.

Aufgrund der besorgniserregenden Inflation war und ist es für die Arbeiterschaft Italiens schwer, günstige Waren zu ergattern.

Dennoch steht Italien vor einer Schwelle zu einer neuen, goldenen, Zeit.
