Where and why does the BE-AG sell its food

With this short article, I would like to give a brief overview of where the Bavaria Economy AG is currently selling its goods (Bread Q1 and Q2).

First of all, Germany.

This is because the holding company is, after all, a German enterprise, which makes trade there easier and requires larger amounts of DEM.

However, bread is also being sold in Italy. On one hand, because the market there is currently extremely empty; and on the other hand, because despite the fact that the ITL is currently worth about one-third less than the DEM, the relatively high inflation means that in Italy—when converted to gold—you earn more with bread than in Germany.

Now to the calculation:

(For simplicity, some values are rounded.)

Q2 Bread in Italy:

0.400 ITL selling price, with an ITL rate of 0.133

0.400 × 0.133 = 0.053 gold per bread.

Thus, 19 loaves must be sold to earn one gold.

Q2 Bread in Germany:

0.300 DEM selling price, with a DEM rate of 0.200

0.300 × 0.200 = 0.06 gold per bread.

Thus, 17 loaves must be sold to earn one gold.

Before calculating it for Croatia, two notes:

1. This is the best example of how quickly the economy can change. Just yesterday, it was still more profitable to sell in Italy.

2. Anyone checking the markets will surely notice that the values differ greatly from current offers. Since the price of a Q2 bread in Germany is currently at an astronomical 1 DEM, I’m basing the prices on Q1 or Q3, as these should be roughly 50% smaller/larger in gross value.

Now for Croatia:

0.360 HRK selling price, with an HRK rate of 0.199

0.360 × 0.199 = 0.072 gold per bread.

Thus, 15 loaves must be sold to earn one gold.

Once again, a perfect example of point 1 in the notes. :D

(Of course, one must also keep in mind that bread doesn’t sell equally fast everywhere.)

Conclusion: Before every sale, calculate where it’s most profitable.

Now the German version

Mit diesem kurzen Artikel möchte ich einen kurzen Überblick verschaffen, wo die Bavaria Economy AG momentan ihre Waren (Brot Q1 und Q2) verkauft.

Zunächst einmal Deutschland.

Dies liegt daran, dass die Holding nun mal ein deutsches Unternehmen ist, was den Handel dort leichter macht und größere Mengen an DEM erfordert.

Aber auch in Italien wird Brot verkauft. Zum einen, weil der Markt dort momentan extrem leer ist, aber auch, weil trotz der Tatsache, dass der ITL Stand heute rund 1/3 weniger Wert besitzt als der DEM, die relativ hohe Inflation dafür sorgt, dass man in Italien, in Gold umgerechnet, mit Brot mehr als in Deutschland verdient.

Jetzt zu der Rechnung:

(Zur Vereinfachung werden manche Werte gerundet)

Q2 Brot in Italien:

0,400 ITL Verkaufspreis, sowie 0,133 ITL-Kurs

0,400 × 0,133 = 0,053 Gold pro Brot. Somit müssen 19 Brote verkauft werden, um ein Gold zu bekommen.

Q2 Brot in Deutschland:

0,300 DEM Verkaufspreis, sowie 0,200 DEM-Kurs

0,300 × 0,200 = 0,06 Gold pro Brot. Somit müssen 17 Brote verkauft werden, um ein Gold zu bekommen.

Bevor wir es noch für Kroatien ausrechnen, zwei Hinweise:

1. Dies ist das beste Beispiel, dass sich die Wirtschaft innerhalb kurzer Zeit stark verändern kann. Gestern nämlich war es noch lukrativer in Italien zu verkaufen.

2. Falls jemand die Märkte überprüft, wird ihm sicher auffallen, dass die Werte teilweise stark von den jetzigen Angeboten abweichen. Da der Preis eines Q2 Brotes in Deutschland momentan bei astronomischen 1 DEM liegt, orientiere ich mich bei den Preisen an Q1, bzw. Q3, da diese Brutto um 50% kleiner/größer sein müss(t)en.

Nun also zu Kroatien:

0,360 HRK Verkaufspreis, sowie 0,199 HRK-Kurs

0,360 × 0,199 = 0,072 Gold pro Brot. Somit müssen 15 Brote verkauft werden, um ein Gold zu bekommen.

Wieder mal ein perfektes Beispiel für Punkt 1 der Hinweise. :D

(Man muss aber natürlich auch bedenken, dass das Brot nicht überall gleich schnell verkauft wird.)

Fazit: Vor jedem Verkauf ausrechnen, wo es sich am meisten rentiert.

Jurieto Also Italy has higher net wages (higher avg wage and lower work tax) so the NPCs can spend more CC on the general market. In my opinion factoring in also the number of NPCs that operate in each country market would be nice in the future! Nice stuff
