A new chapter for Japan and my farewell as president

My term as President of Japan draws to a close, and with it, an opportunity for fresh leadership to guide our nation to greater heights. It is with immense gratitude and pride that I address you one final time as your president.

From the groundbreaking improvements in our regional infrastructure to our strategic alliances that fortified Japan’s place on the international stage, every step forward was a testament to your trust and hard work.

Japan is not just a nation; it is a family. A family bound by honor, ambition, and an unyielding will to protect what we hold dear. To those who questioned, debated, and pushed me to think harder and better—thank you. It is through dialogue and collaboration that we grew as a nation.
