This is one of those life philosophies I always like to keep in mind; it makes us realize it makes no sense to place our own ego, will, pleasures, and desires above those of others—especially since we wouldn't like it if the tables were turned. In short, always do good. (Unless someone threatens your life or that of your family—in which case, protect them by any means necessary.)
