How to make Poles mad + consequences

If there’s one thing history teaches, it’s never to provoke the Poles - especially during a time of celebration (drunk). Slovenia learned this lesson the hard way after their ill-fated attack on New Year’s Eve (31.12.2024). When most Poles were enjoying time with their families and far from thoughts of defense.

The Slovenian ambush was designed to catch Poland off-guard, but it only succeeded in sparking a ferocious response. Outraged by the brazen assault on the city of Gdańsk, the Polish defenders sprang into action, channeling their fury into an unyielding and decisive victory. The attackers retreated in defeat, leaving Poland's pride intact and its spirit unbroken.

But the story didn’t end there. The Poles, unwilling to let the insult go unanswered, allied with the Croatians for a counterstrike on Slovenian lands. Together, the two nations launched a coordinated attack that unleashed massive destruction, hitting Slovenia where it hurt most - Novo Mesto.

Fueled by vengeance and a desire to restore honor, Polish forces achieved their goal of conquering the first Slovenian region, gifting it to their Croatian allies. Not content with stopping there, the Polish and Croatian forces press forward, delivering blow after blow to Slovenia’s defenses.

The campaign has become a rallying cry for Poles, a demonstration of their resilience and unrelenting spirit. It serves as a stark warning:
