Todays interview is a special one - the almighty Thor, President of Chile have taken their time to answer my questions, and speak about their plans and expectations for the upcoming month.
────────────
Nekotique: What will be your top priorities for your presidency?
Thor: When I came to power, I found myself facing massive inflation as a result of the war. Our main challenge was to stabilize the economy and the monetary market. We haven't yet reached the pre-war level, but at least we've partially succeeded. We are currently restoring our reserves.
────────────
Nekotique: What lessons have you learned from previous leaders that you want to apply or avoid during your presidency?
Thor: The main lesson, and I don't know if it's something that will be applied in the future, is that we will carefully consider our support for any war campaign. Perhaps it will be partially supported. I'm not 100% sure yet. There aren't many of us in Chile, but the few of us who are, we hit beyond our strength. We exhausted ourselves, and when the enemy wiped us out, I didn't see a single ally on our side.
────────────
Nekotique: What do you think of the current global scene of Eclesiar, now that WW4 have ended?
Thor: Any period of peace is good for reflection and seeing what can be improved. But in general, I'm worried about the comrades who have left the game. It will undoubtedly mark a before and after. I can't say much about it either, but most people know why they left.
────────────
Nekotique: Can you share with us a personal story, that affected your journey greatly here in Eclesiar (either in the choice to run for presidency, something positive, negative)?
Thor: Personally, I ran for president thinking I wouldn't be elected because I'm a reserved and undiplomatic person. At the same time, it helps me socialize more since I'm about to become a father. But I appreciate the vote of confidence.
────────────
Nekotique: If there's a message you would like to share with my readers, what would that be?
Thor: As president, my message to readers would be that a nation's security and prosperity depend on its leaders' ability to make balanced, strategic decisions. In a conflict environment, it is crucial to find a balance between defending national interests and seeking peace and cooperation with other countries. I want to emphasize the importance of diplomacy and intelligent military strategy in navigating the game's challenges. I encourage players and readers to consider the consequences of their actions and seek solutions that benefit everyone, thus fostering a more dynamic and challenging game for all.
I also appreciate the space provided by Comrade Nekotike. His work explores an aspect of the game that many of us overlook.
