It's been a while! Sorry about that, as it is with every game, IRL always comes first, and yours truly had a brutal last two weeks. Nevertheless, we are continuing our series - so round of applause for Ligabo, who was kind enough to answer my questions! :)
────────────
Nekotique: What will be your top priorities for your presidency?
Ligabo: In my first administration, I had two priorities: acquiring companies to meet our demand and finalizing our infrastructure so we have 600 of energy, and I managed to complete this in the first days of my second term. Soon after, World War IV hit, and everything was thrown into limbo. Now, we have to start over and achieve everything again, and by the end of this, I will have done my job.
────────────
Nekotique: What lessons have you learned from previous leaders that you want to apply or avoid during your presidency?
Ligabo: Well, I hate wars, and I understand that everything can be resolved through diplomacy. I'm not one to speak ill of previous governments, as everything is a learning experience, but alliances were made that I opposed, and I'm not the type to seek the country's expansion at any cost. Even in this last war, I didn't want alliances with certain countries, but I'm not a hypocrite: I will defend eBrazil at all costs, even if it means sacrificing some of my mental health.
────────────
Nekotique: What do you think of the current global scene of Eclesiar, now that WW4 have ended?
Ligabo: I found it interesting, we weren't wiped (laughs)! I just suspect new alliances are being formed, because most of the defeated want to sit on the throne again and will do anything to get there, often without diplomacy. But... I hope I'm wrong, and I also hope no one drops a nuclear bomb on the others.
────────────
Nekotique: Can you share with us a personal story, that affected your journey greatly here in Eclesiar (either in the choice to run for presidency, something positive, negative)?
Ligabo: Well, last year I joined eRepublik and found the combat style interesting, as well as the friendships I made. People are very friendly and always willing to help newcomers, which shows how close-knit the community is. Soon after, I joined Eclesiar right at the beginning of the game and, at first, I didn't really like it; I hated the politics, but I got the hang of it. I was elected PP without campaigning and, soon after, I won the presidential election. My vCP and my minister are my front line, as they bring their souls to the game, along with other good friends who help me daily. When they get tired of me, I'll leave, lol.
────────────
Nekotique: If there's a message you would like to share with my readers, what would that be?
Ligabo: Understand, this is a game. Don't take anything personally, because I always say that if it affects me to the point of upsetting me in real life, I'll leave. Talk, have fun, try to understand each other, because who knows, maybe a friendship you made here will become a reality? Maybe a love? Lol.
I just overcame an illness that plagued me for 9 months and I'm happy. Fulfilled? No. Happiness is fleeting, but it's a stepping stone to achieving our goals. I hope that in a year's time I'll be recovered from those 9 months I spent fighting the disease and will be much happier, fulfilled, and excited.
No, I wasn't pregnant.
Ten kisses on everyone's cheeks.
